Cruzing to victory in Wisconsin

The primaries in Wisconsin are over and Cruz won the Republican side with about 49% of the vote and 36 delegates in the end with the Donald receiving about 35% of the vote and six delegates. John Kasich, who has only achieved victory in the state where he is Governor continues to waste time and got 14% of the vote and once again, no delegates. Isn’t it amazing that another candidate who has dropped out of the race has more delegates than Kasich? Trump’s campaign put out the following statement after the Primary was called for a Cruz victory:

Donald J. Trump withstood the onslaught of the establishment yet again. Lyin’ Ted Cruz had the Governor of Wisconsin, many conservative talk radio show hosts, and the entire party apparatus behind him. Not only was he propelled by the anti-Trump Super PAC’s spending countless millions of dollars on false advertising against Mr. Trump, but he was coordinating with his own Super PAC’s (which is illegal) who totally control him. Ted Cruz is worse than a puppet— he is a Trojan horse, being used by the party bosses attempting to steal the nomination from Mr. Trump. We have total confidence that Mr. Trump will go on to win in New York, where he holds a substantial lead in all the polls, and beyond. Mr. Trump is the only candidate who can secure the delegates needed to win the Republican nomination and ultimately defeat Hillary Clinton, or whomever is the Democratic nominee, in order to Make America Great Again.

Cruz had the following to state concerning his victory:

April 5

I’m still hoping for Ted Cruz to win the Republican nomination, but I don’t see him doing well in the northeast nor am I certain about his chances in my home state of California. The polls concerning this in California have shown The Donald slowly losing his lead over time, but opinion polls are only so useful anyway. According to the folks at Politico, the Trump campaign is dealing with significant problems, low morale, and not properly maintaining/retaining its staff. I’ll be voting for Ted Cruz in the upcoming primary anyway. Some notable portions of the Politico story:

Since March, the campaign has been laying off field staff en masse around the country and has dismantled much of what existed of its organizations in general-election battlegrounds, including Florida and Ohio.

Last month, the campaign laid off the leader of its data team, Matt Braynard, who did not train a successor. It elevated his No. 2, a data engineer with little prior high-level political strategy experience, and also shifted some of his team’s duties to a 2015 college graduate whose last job was an internship with the consumer products company Colgate-Palmolive. Some of the campaign’s data remains inaccessible.
I wonder how many former Trump campaign staffers Politico has talked to?
‘I believe that Donald Trump has the backbone to fix this country, but if changes are not made soon at the top I am fairly convinced that he will lose,’ said one of the people who left the campaign. The person said morale among the campaign staff is sinking, attributing that to the layoffs, as well as Lewandowski’s profanity-laced outburst on campaign calls.‘I don’t think Mr. Trump knows what’s happening on his campaign,” the person said, adding “everyone is in astonishment of what’s going on. It’s almost like they’re sabotaging themselves.’

(Lewandowski said that “never once” has anyone on the campaign complained to him about his cursing or management style.)

Moving on to the Communists in the race, Shillary managed to lose another state to Comrade Sanders in spite of the DNC clearing the way for her and making it as easy as possible. Oh well, Bernie’s run is just a show unless Hillary actually gets indicted by the Obama DOJ. The Clinton’s only have one good politician in the family and it’s not Hillary. What was the Democratic Party thinking when they cleared the field for her?

NARAL and Planned Parenthood might have to have a discussion with Shillary on calling an unborn child a person. All good comrades know that it’s good conduct until the child comes all the way out of the mother.
