Ariana Grande’s high-IQ thoughts on the President

joan_grande_2

The progressive celebrity viewpoint of the world never ceases to amaze or entertain me. The Yahoo! Entertainment story about Grande’s insightful thoughts is literally nothing but Twitter posts from sycophantic fans of Grande and former President Obama. Apparently I don’t use enough newspeak to know that “imy” stands for I miss you. Silly me, I didn’t realize what language and human interaction has been reduced to:

In even more vapidity from the Puffington Host/Yahoo! Entertainment a song by Grande entitled “thank u, next” is supposedly “throwing shade” at President Trump for enforcing immigration laws. The music video looks like a low-brow teen breakup song but I guess that since Grande holds some books that she’s never read on topics that she’s never studied in detail I should care about what she thinks. I wonder how many illegal immigrants Grande has invited into her own home?

My, what big-brained thoughts spew forth from the mind of a progressive celebrity:

I suppose that when you view of complex issues comes from Harry Potter novels and allows for no granularity you just know that you’re right and everyone else is a Nazi:

Assassination by Forklift

In another interesting story that would’ve gotten a lot more coverage if someone else was President a North Dakota man was arrested for stealing a forklift in an attempt to kill President Trump. Gregory Lee Leingang was going to make his move as President Trump passed through Bismarck, North Dakota and according to U.S. Assistant State Attorney Brandie Russell: “The intent was to basically try to get to the limo, flip the limo and get to the president and he wanted to kill the president.” More simply amazing details from the story:

Leingang tried to escape after the forklift got stuck in a gated area, according to reports. He was caught by local police and allegedly confessed his plan to authorities, including the U.S. Secret Service.

Leingang ended up pleading guilty in court and was sentenced to five years in prison. Based upon the fawning representation of former President Obama I have to wonder how such a story would have been treated just a few years ago?

Asan Bay Overlook

The Asan Bay Overlook is one of many monuments that was erected by the National Park Service to honor the memory of those who liberated Guam in 1944. The monument has a wall recording those who died during the battle for Guam and a plaque dedicated to the Chamorro sailors who died during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The memorial overlooks the Asan Bay and also gives a brief overview of the Japanese capture of the island in 1941 and subsequent defense in 1944. This memorial is a wonderful place to visit and I would highly encourage anyone who visits the island to stop by. Enjoy all of the photos on the full page here.

Guam Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial

This post just covers the Guam Vietnam Veteran’s memorial located in the southwestern portion of Guam. The monument overlooks a valley and small bay to the south and is a nice place to sit and reflect. Find all of the photos and the full page here.

Guam Animals in Need

This post and the related page are something that I’ve been working on for a while now but it’s finally ready for primetime. Guam Animals in Need (GAIN) is Guam’s only animal shelter and the only place for stray and feral animals to be cared for. I always like playing with the animals there (they enjoy it as well) and enjoyed my time at the animal shelter. You could always adopt a friend in you get sent to Guam and any volunteer help that you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Here’s the link to the full page on GAIN and I hope that you enjoy all of the photos!

The Rainbow Nation

I don’t feel much of a need to elaborate on this video about South Africa. It’s interesting that even if you’re logged onto your Google account YouTube still asks if you want to view the video (and will not allow you to share it).

Here’s a random smattering of news articles:

The Indian Express-Nigeria urges African Union to intervene over ‘South Africa killings’

The Telegraph-Zimbabwe refugees flee South Africa as violence erupts

Euronews-Violence erupts between locals and migrants in South Africa

Here’s some brilliant analysis by the CBC on why there are no big problems in South Africa except for white people being racist and imperialistic:

Creepy Porn Lawyer Arrested for Domestic Violence

AAABYrr

It seems that the problems keep mounting for Michael Avenatti, the creepy porn lawyer who is representing Stormy Daniels, has been given national exposure by progressive media outlets for not liking Trump, and is mulling a 2020 Presidential run. Aside from being hit with a restraining order to not accept payment for legal fees, was struck down by a personal judgement for 4.85 million to a former colleague, and subsequently evicted from his law firm’s office Avenatti is now in LAPD custody for domestic violence.

Verily, this was a man that really needed all of the media attention that’s been showered on him for the last several months. I wonder if dying outlets like Vanity Fair will still write articles comparing Avenatti to President Trump? Out of a very comedic article the beginning is probably the best:

The case for President Michael Avenatti, put forward by adoring MSNBC moms and vengeful Clintonites, is simple: Democrats need their own Donald Trump, and nobody mimics Trump’s elemental command of media dynamics better than the lawyer who weaponized Stormy Daniels.

Of course the author didn’t deign to cite any sources or quote a single person in this assertion. I’m sure that Ms. Nguyen realizes that it was the media that weaponized the creepy porn lawyer and Stormy Daniels but that’s not important I guess. What is important is the narrative that the orange man is bad and defeating Trumputin in 2020!

The Next Frontier of Social Justice: Trans-ageism

94dea276-e0df-11e8-bec0-c1fedb39a23e

You can change your gender, you can change your race, and you may now be able to change your age as well as Mr. Emile Ratelband is attempting to do in the Netherlands. Mr. Ratelband has taken his case to court and is arguing that his birth date should be allowed to change from 1949 to 1969:

You can change your name. You can change your gender. Why not your age?” he told De Telegraaf outside court. “Nowhere are you so discriminated against as with your age.

Everything else about our bodies is just a social construct so why not age right?

He told the Dutch newspaper that his view is supported by medical and physiological reports, saying: ‘My biological age in the medical world is determined to be at 40 to 45 years.’

I look like I’m 18, let me change my age! Along the same vein as this story apparently progressives don’t like the fact that a Victoria’s Secret executive didn’t want to cast transgender models at fashion shows:

‘Shouldn’t you have transsexual in the show? No. No, I don’t think we should,’ Razek said. ‘Well, why not? Because the show is a fantasy. It’s a 42-minute entertainment special. That’s what it is,’ he said.”

The Twitter remarks apologizing to leftists did not appease the progressives though. There is no purpose in apologizing to such individuals.

Don’t you guys know that it’s the current year?!?!

All I see are NPCs! We live in a society!

It’s amazing how such an accurate description of progressives can hurt them so badly and quickly. The New York Times article on Non-Playable Characters (NPC) is so unintentionally hilarious I can’t help but wonder if it’s written by a Republican as a joke. Let’s take a look at a modern socialist’s attempts to understand humor and the Internet:

The campaign, which was born in the fever swamps of 4chan and Reddit message boards, involved creating hundreds of fictional personas with gray cartoon avatars, known as NPCs.

The enlightening commentary on Internet jokes just keeps getting better and better:

These accounts posed as liberal activists and were used to spread — among other things — false information about November’s midterm elections

What the hell, does the author think that this is some elaborate scheme by the Russians (who can do everything by the way)?

NPC Wojak is a variation of Wojak, an old cartoon (also known as “feels guy”) that has become a kind of collective mascot for the far-right commenters online. In recent weeks, users on 4chan and Reddit have made all kinds of memes featuring NPC Wojak.

Oh look, tis the far-right pejorative used again on someone that doesn’t agree in lock-step with the Democratic Party and media.

And then, when progressives object to a meme that portrays them as unthinking automatons, it becomes another piece of evidence: See? The left can’t take a joke.

Glad to see that we can agree that the left has no sense of humor. If you guys could take a joke there would’ve been no need to write this dumb article or for Twitter to ban thousands of obvious parody accounts.

The campaign began as a joke. But a few of the accounts started posting misleading information about the midterm elections, including encouraging liberals to vote on Nov. 7. (Election Day is Nov. 6.)

Damn, the author really doesn’t have a sense of humor does he? Has Mr. Alex Burns never heard this joke before? Does he really not understand it? This next excerpt takes the cake though:

Are these Russian bots?

Probably not. (Although some of the NPC accounts may have been automated, there is no sign that Russia is involved in this.) Mostly, it appears to be a 4chan joke that spiraled into some mild voter suppression.

An Internet meme is now voter suppression, who knew? Since the NPC meme is so clearly effective and accurate why not post up some NPC memes? Enjoy and be sure to share with your fellow NPCs!!!

An article by The Independent is also pretty hilarious.
